1963. Thich Quang Duc, the Buddhist priest in Southern Vietnam, burns himself to death protesting the government's torture policy against priests. Thich Quang Dug never made a sound or moved while he was burning.
dialogue must be overheard and reconstructed, and preferably in reference to something technology-related. letters are imagined letters to certain people. they should repeat and morph. images of anti-heroes, negative space, displacement, transparency, (sub)consciousness, dreamscapes, sex, images, music, inside/outside, things that are invisible but manifest themselves visibly, and why we don't talk about death. this blog is a way to keep track of dramaturgy and inspiration for my next play. feel free to contribute and inquire.
